Aftershock isn’t just a concert – it’s an experience. Here’s how to make the most of your festival weekend.

  • Pick the Right Hotel. Ditch the high-priced parking and frustrating traffic jams at Aftershock Festival!   • Familiarize yourself with the festival layout and schedule. This will help you plan your day and avoid missing any of your favorite bands. You can find the festival map and schedule on the Aftershock Festival website www.aftershockfestival.com/
  • Download the festival app. The app will have the latest information on the festival, including set times, stage locations, and food and drink vendors. Google Play AppApple Store App.
  • Pack light but bring essentials. You’ll be walking around a lot, so pack comfortable shoes and clothes. Be sure to bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a reusable water bottle.
  • Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. The weather in Sacramento can vary depending on the time of year, so be prepared for anythin
  • Aftershock is a cashless festival: Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Android Pay, Tap to Pay, and RFID wristbands. Traditional card payments are still accepted. All vendors accept both card payments and RFID wristbands. Reverse ATMs on-site allow cash to be converted into prepaid Mastercards, with transactions ranging from $5 to $500, and a $4.95 fee per card.

DURING THE FESTIVAL

  • Arrive early to avoid long lines. The earlier you arrive, the easier it will be to find a good spot to watch the bands.
  • Stay hydrated and eat plenty of food. It’s important to stay hydrated, especially in the hot sun. There will be plenty of food and drink vendors on site, but be prepared for long lines.
  • Pace yourself. There are a lot of bands to see, so don’t try to do too much in one day. Take breaks throughout the day to rest and rehydrat
  • Be respectful of other festivalgoers. Aftershock is a large festival, so be prepared for crowds. Be courteous to others and be mindful of your personal space.
  • Use the restroom facilities before the headliners. The lines for the restrooms will be especially long before the headliners take the stage.
